Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program

Purchase any ticket and receive 25% of the purchase price back up to the value of $125.

What is the program?

For Entertainment experiences, customers can claim back 25 per cent on the total cost when they spend $40 or more (including GST).

This applies to in-person events and experiences across Victoria, on any day of the week. Eligible experiences include live performance, cinemas, museums, galleries, amusement parks and more.

Each customer can claim a combined total of up to $125 in rebates for dining and entertainment experiences under the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program.

When will the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program end?
The 25 per cent rebates will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis until funds are exhausted for Dining and Entertainment.

If funding is exhausted for either the Dining or Entertainment stream, the other will remain open until its funding is also exhausted.

I have submitted my claim but haven’t yet heard if it’s been approved. Do I need to resubmit my claim?

For customers who have already made a claim and received a claim ID number by email, please be reassured that your claim and query will be processed as soon as possible. There is no need to resubmit your claim.

We thank you for your patience as we work through the high volume of claims and queries.

How will I know when funds are exhausted?

The websites will be regularly updated to show how much of the funds remain. Before submitting your claim, we encourage you to consult the relevant website – either Dining or Entertainment – to see if funds are available.

Do I need a smartphone to claim?

You can make a claim from any mobile device or computer that links to the internet. Please note that you will need to either get an electronic copy of your receipt, take a digital photo or scan a copy of your receipt and upload it directly to the Dining website or Entertainment website, whichever is relevant.

Do I need a voucher to claim my rebate?

No. You only need the receipt or tax invoice from your eligible dining or entertainment experience to claim your rebate. You do not need to apply for a voucher.

Please ensure the receipt/tax invoice includes the business name, ABN, purchase date, item description and total price (including GST).

Can I claim the rebate on more than one occasion and in different venues?

Yes, as long the receipt shows at least $40 has been spent in one transaction each time, customers can claim for multiple dining and entertainment experiences.

However, there is a maximum combined rebate of $125 per customer across dining and entertainment experiences under the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program.

For example, if you dine out for $60 and buy tickets to a live music event for $100, you can submit two separate claims, one for the Dining stream and one for the Entertainment stream. You would get $15 back on the $60 dining experience and $25 back on the entertainment experience.

This is a total of $40 from your combined maximum rebate of $125, which means you could claim back up to $85 more on further dining and entertainment expenses, while funds last. Please note, each receipt must be claimed separately.

What is the maximum rebate I can claim?

You can claim back a maximum of $125 across dining and entertainment experiences while funds last.
