Grant Piro

Grant Piro’s vast experience as an actor over the past 40 years has allowed him to work in every facet of the industry, appearing in more than 100 productions, as well as being one of Australia’s busiest voice-over actors. His work has been recognised with several Green Room Award nominations and two wins ( The Merry Widow and The Producers) as well as Helpmann Award and AACTA nominations.

Grant began his career at the tender age of sixteen in the 80’s TV soap opera Sons and Daughters. Since then, some of his credits have included Janus, Correlli, GP, Wildside, Seachange, CrashBurn, City Homicide, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Jack Irish, The Olivia Newton John Story, Newton’s Law, How To Stay Married, Wanted, Ex PM 2, My Life is Murder, and appeared as Dustan Hoffman in Hoges.

Feature film credits have included Playing Beatie Bow, Call Me Mr Brown, The Lighthorsemen, Bushfire Moon, Bad Boy Bubby, Mr Accident, Darkness Falls, The Outsider, The Condemned, Crime and Punishment, Crocodile Dundee in LA, Mormon Yankees: The Spirit of the Game, and alongside Daniel Radcliffe in Escape from Pretoria.

On-stage highlights include Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Realism, Taking Steps, Whose Life Is It Anyway, The 39 Steps, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, His Girl Friday, Hairspray, The Odd Couple, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Hand to God, Oklahoma, Hello Dolly and was set to play Martini in One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest until Covid 19 cancelled the season.
