Christina O’Neill
Christina O’Neill is a Helpmann award-winning actor. Her recent stage appearances include: Well, That Happened (MTC), Susan/Adelaide Adams in Calamity Jane (Comedy Theatre/Arts Centre) and Eddie Perfect’s Vivid White (MTC).
A graduate of WAAPA, Christina’s musical theatre credits include: Christmas Eve in Avenue Q (Arts Asia Pacific) for which she won a Helpmann Award; Julie LaVerne in Show Boat (The Production Company); the Baker’s Wife in Into The Woods and Dot in Sunday in the Park with George (Victorian Opera); Maddy in Prodigal (45 Downstairs); Tell Me on A Sunday (Kookaburra) and as one of the Divas in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical (Back Row Productions).
Christina is an ensemble member of Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre, appearing in several of their highly-acclaimed productions including: Control, Right Now, The River, Middletown, Belleville and The Motherf*cker with the Hat. She played April White in Workhorse Theatre Company’s Savage in Limbo and appeared in Gaybies for the Midsumma Festival.
She also features on the original Australian cast recording of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and the albums Showqueen Sessions and Together Apart.
Her screen credits include: Neighbours, The Power of the Dream, Relic (feature film), Mr. Black, Winners & Losers, The Divorce and City Homicide.
